Our goal is simple: keep your seafood frozen from our freezer to yours.
Every shipping decision we make—from insulated packaging and dry ice to expedited Spee-Dee Delivery—is designed to minimize time out of the freezer and preserve the quality, texture, and flavor of your seafood. Once your order is delivered, prompt handling is essential to maintaining that same level of quality.
Shipping
- Orders are shipped throughout the Spee-Dee Delivery service area using insulated packaging and dry ice.
- Once your order ships, you will receive tracking information by email. Customers are responsible for monitoring the shipment and being available to receive the package on the scheduled delivery date.
- Most shipments arrive within 1-2 business days, although delivery times may vary due to weather or carrier conditions.
Upon Delivery
Maintaining product quality depends on minimizing time out of the freezer.
Alaska Wild Fish Co. carefully controls the cold chain during transit by using insulated packaging, dry ice, and expedited Spee-Dee Delivery. Once your package is delivered, preserving product quality becomes the customer's responsibility.
Upon delivery, customers should:
- Open and inspect the package immediately.
- Refrigerate only the seafood that will be consumed within the next 24 hours.
- Place all remaining products into a freezer immediately.
- Report any shipping or product concerns within 24 hours of delivery.
Failure to promptly retrieve, inspect, refrigerate, or freeze the shipment may affect product quality and may impact eligibility for claim consideration.
